JACQUELINE'S PLAN: VIETNAM ITINERARY 14D13N IN THREE REGIONS

Welcome to Sai Gon Viet Nam – the largest and most populous city in Vietnam.

Get picked up by our driver.

Transfer to the hotel.

Check in and have rest!

Overnight in Sai Gon.

We pick you up at HCMC and then take you to Can Tho.

13:00: Our tour guide will pick you up and start going to Son island

13:30: Arrive the Son islet on Mekong river and enjoy these activities below:

• Visiting Tropical fruit orchards (seasonal), where you can pick fruits directly and try eating them right at the garden because it is organi
• Visiting a Mekong Delta traditional house, learn with us how a Mekong Delta traditional house is arranged, which traditional jobs used to cohesion with locals in the past via local storie
• Making local cakes guided by local chefs – Making Banh Khot, pop rice and Vietnamese wa
• Having lunch at a local house and relaxing on the hammoc
• Walking around the authentic island, visiting many fish ponds which are made by local people.
• Having a chance to visit a floating fish farm on the Mekong river and enjoy watching the sunset on the Mekong river

17:30: you will be checking in your hotel.

Overnight in Can Tho.

05:30: Our boat where you will start your tour. It takes around 30 minutes to arrive at the Cai Rang floating market. On the way, you will have a chance to watch the sunrise on the Mekong River.

06:15: You will arrive at Cai Rang floating market. Our boat driver will drive the boat slowly around the floating market so that you can enjoy observing how local people trade products on their boats and enjoy the bustling atmosphere.

07:00: You will experience sitting on boats and having breakfast on the floating market which is a must-do when you visit the floating market.

07:45: You will keep boating over to a local noodle house where you make your own rice paper and noodles guided by local people.

08:45: Heading to authentic small canals – one of ten prettiest canals in the world. It takes more than an hour on the canals. Our boat driver will stop driving, but paddling slowly so that you can immerse yourself in nature.

10:00: Get to know about cacao trees and how to make chocolate by hand.

11:30: Back to the city and head back to HCMC.

Driver picks up to the airport.

Fly to Da Nang.

Welcome to Da Nang city – the biggest city in Central Viet Nam.

Free to explore the city by yourself.

Overnight in Da Nang.

08:30: The local guide picks you up at your hotel lobby and transfers you to Cam Thanh fishing village.

09:30: Transfer to Cam Thanh village by car or boat on the way, meet local fishermen and experience the daily life of the local in there.

10:00: Take a bamboo basket boat on the Cam Thanh water coconut forest and have a brief introduction to the history there.

11:00: Join local fishermen on the river and enjoy the hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing.

Learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and join in a basket boat race.

Explore the now peaceful coconut waterways of a past war. Go catch the crabs.

Return fisherman’s house for a welcome drink. Enjoy lunch in there.

13:30: Colored lanterns are a symbol of Hoi An, where locals believe they bring happiness, luck, and wealth.

Bring home a souvenir with a difference, a lantern that you made yourself, after this fascinating class.

Choose from a wealth of different silks then work with your instructor to craft a bamboo frame and create your lantern, which will fold away neatly into your luggage.

After lantern making class, you have a short walking around the old town, the tour guide will help you to book the boat for night time come back to drop lantern on the river.

This is traditional things Vietnamese doing on full moon days for wishing health and luck.

Finish the tour, driver is taking you back to the hotel.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Spending your free day to explore Hoi An on your own.

Shopping and resting day.

Fly to Ha Noi.

Get picked up from the airport. Leave your luggage at the hotel.

Starting the trip to explore Hanoi old quarter with your local friend. Visiting Hanoi 36 streets, hidden gems, the places which is only locals know…

Check in train street famous place you can’t miss when visiting Hanoi. Along the trip Jenny will take you to local places to enjoy our Hanoi authentic street foods:

She is taking you to Hoan Kiem Lake where you will find the greatest “bánh mì” place in town. After that, you will visit to one of the original egg coffee based in Hanoi from 1946.

The next stop is an ancient cuisine alley where you can try the truly authentic version of “bún chả” and spring rolls – Hanoian specialties. Later on, you will pass by few interesting streets in the old quarters which are still devoted to their original trades to get to try Hanoian savory pan cake and Vietnamese steamed rice rolls.

Overnight in Ha Noi.

07:30 – 08:00: Pick up from the hotel in Hanoi old quater for Halong

11:45: Arrive to Tuan Chau International Port – have check-in procedures at the
waiting lounge.
12:30: Transfer to Cruise by speedboat
Welcome to  Cruise and enjoy welcome drink, meet the captain, crew to get a
brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines.
13:00: Have buffet lunch while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay – Lan Ha bay, admiring
the fascinating rock formations in the bay.
15:00: Cruise cruise moves near Calves Head island or Tra Bau island in Lan Ha Bay. Do kayaking and swimming
17:00: Free time to relax on the cruise. Don’t miss the sundeck area to catch the sunset, enjoy the
sunset party and take part in a cooking class of authentic Vietnamese dishes.
19:15: Time for dinner
21.00: Evening entertainments: play game on the cruise (card games, chess, karaoke, squid
fishing) or relaxing with massage service
Overnight on Cruise.

6:00 – 6:30: You participate in the Tai Chi session on the sundeck
07:00: Enjoy breakfast while the ship continues to move through the large and small islands in
the bay.
8.00 – 8.30: Transfer to smaller cruise
8.30: Visit Viet Hai Village, Cat Ba Forest Biosphere Reserve
11.45: Back to the cruise to prepare for lunch
12.30: Have a lunch
14:00: Explore the fishing village by kayaking or be a fisherman at Quay To Area (or
alternatively swim on Ba Trai Dao natural beach.)
16.00: Return to Cruise.
On the go, enjoy sunset party & bake with salors or free to relax.
19.15: Have dinner
20.30 – 22.30: Enjoy the magical view of Lan Ha Bay at night at the bar, relax on the sundeck,
karaoke or squid -shing
Overnight on Cruise

06:00: It is a perfect time to refresh and indulge yourself in the peaceful beauty of the bay with a
tai chi session on the sundeck. If you want to hunt for dawn, get up from 5:30 to 6:00 depending
on the season.
06:30 – 07:15: Have breakfast
07:15 – 09:00: The car takes you to visit Trung Trang cave.
9:30: You come back on board and it is time for check out.
9:45: Enjoy a delightful brunch at our restaurant while cruising back.
11:20 – 11:30: Disembark Aqua of the Sea Cruise at Tuan Chau Marina, say best wishes, and
end your cruise with us.

11:30: Back to the bus for Hanoi

14:30 – 15:00: Bus drop off at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quater

07:00: Driver pick up to Sapa. Take 6 hours drive from Hanoi to Sapa by Noi Bai – Lao Cai express way, few short-break times on the way.

13:00: Arrive Sapa and discover Sapa by yourself.

Recommend place to visit: Fansipan peak, Cat Cat Village, Stone Church Sapa.

Overnight in Sapa.

Enjoying breakfast prior to going on the morning tour.

08:30: Start your tour with 6km of walking down to the South East of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village, home of the Black H’mong people. Then continue with a 3km-trek down to Lao Chai village. Here we will stop for a simple lunch before exploring the village. After lunch, continue trekking through terraced rice fields to Ta Van, village of the Dzay minority people. This trek is relatively easy, though the trail can be quite slippery if it rains, so good footwear is recommended.

11:30 – 12:00: Arrive at Ta Van village; a commune of Sa Pa, 12 km from the center of the town. It is an area with many ethnic groups, including the Day and the H’mong. Ta Van is a tourist area with landmarks such as Sapa Ancient Stone Field, Cau May, House on Stilt and many ethnic specialties. Having lunch at the homestay.

14:00: Check-in at homestay. You can join in a cooking class to learn how to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls.

18:30: Enjoy local dishes for dinner.

Overnight at homestay in Ta Van.

08:30: After having had a restful night and enjoyable breakfast, it is time to take an 8 km walk to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao people, the H’mong who are located in Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan villages. Situated at the edge of Muong Hoa Valley, Giang Ta Chai is gaining popularity as one of the most scenic and interesting locations for visitors who enjoy experiencing the colorful traditional customs and costumes that are always on show here. While Su Pan is considered as a less travelled and more withdrawn village because of its small population base.

There are breath taking and beautiful landscapes throughout this mountainous area, including a stunning waterfall, rattan bridges, and some exquisite ferns and orchids that drape from the overhanging branches of so much lush vegetation. After Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan visit, car picks up to back to Sapa town, so the car ride allows some recovery time… and lots of photos and stories will no doubt be told on the brief ride back.

15:00 – 15:30: Back to Sapa town and heading back to Ha Noi

21:30: Arrive in Hanoi.

Overnight in Ha Noi.

Have breakfast. Check out hotel. Driver picks up to the airport
