MAY'S PLAN: VIETNAM ITINERARY 14D13N IN NORTH & CENTRAL PART

Overnight in Ha Noi.

Having breakfast. Spend the morning to visit Quang Phu Cau incense village

08:30: Driver picks you up at your hotel and head out of Hanoi by car

09:30: Arriving in Quang Phu Cau. By the time we arrive, the villagers have already set out incense to dry in various formations and we’ll get pictures of people working among this sea of red. We will have time to capture a variety of shots of the workers in action.

We also venture further into the village workshops, shooting images of the incense-making process, including bamboo chopping, dipping the sticks in dye, and the creation of incense paste. We’ll take more images of the friendly locals who have worked on producing incense in this village for generations. We leave the village at noon, as the workers are preparing for lunch and head back to Hanoi for lunch.

Go back to the city keep visiting Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

21:30: Get on a night bus to Sapa. Meeting point at the bus office. Transfer to Sapa.

05:30 – 6:00: Arrive in Sapa. Local guide will pick up you and take you to have local breakfast.

08:30: First destination is Fansipan Cable Car Station to start the journey to conquer Fansipan with the world’s most modern 3-wire cable car system with a cabin that can accommodate up to 30 visitors. Then continue conquering to the top of Fansipan at 3.143m higher from sea-level, the roof of Indochina.

12:00 Back to Sapa, have lunch.

In the afternoon you will start hiking to Cat Cat Village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in the twentieth century. You will experience the tribal way of life of ethnic minorities while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. Visitors will also understand culture, unique customs, traditional crafts such as weaving, touching carved silver, forged agricultural tools…

Check in hotel.

After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Especially on Saturday night, we highly recommend a stop at the Love Market – one of the unique cultures of ethnic minorities in northwest Vietnam.

09:00: Heading to Ban Mong Alpine Coaster. The coaster descends the mountainside, twisting and turning with the natural contours of the landscape. You’re treated to panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys with each twist and turn.

Then visiting Moana check-in spot such as Bali sky gate, Moana girl statue, Infinity Lake.

12:00: Back to Sapa and rest.

In the afternoon you can get some drinks at Viet Trekking coffee where you can get the view to the Muong Hoa valley and Muong Hoa train running by to Fansipan peak. (Fee on your own)

Finish the day and have free evening.

08:30: Tour starts at our homestay in Ha Giang city, our tour guide and drivers will brief for you how to be safe to sit behind with easy riders.

On the first day in Ha Giang, you will see a big change in the scenery when you drive into the mountain roads.

We will stop at Bac Sum Slope to enjoy the view and have drinks before arrival the town of Quan Ba. The tour takes you through the Dong Van Karst Geopark – a major geo-heritage site in Vietnam. You will see a lot of terraced rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks and magnificent views and hidden villages at the Valley.

People will be working on the land and you will get a taste of rural north Vietnamese countryside life. Our riders also take you to the Quan Ba Heaven gate, Twin mountains – the famous viewpoint in Ha Giang.

We will have lunch in local restaurant in Yen Minh Town. After lunch, we drive to Dong Van Town, you will make a stop at Tham Ma Slope and the residence of the Vuong’s family, which is still called “H’mong King Palace”. Then we will come to homestay and have dinner in Dong Van Town.

After have breakfast at homestay, on this day you will have chance to see the most beautiful landscape in Ha Giang and see the amazing heaven pass – Ma Pi Leng pass where you can see the Nho Que river underneath.

This pass is well known, most tourists call this the most beautiful part of the loop. Just after the pass you will take another road back to Yen Minh.

This road takes you through equally beautiful landscapes as the first day. From Yen Minh the route takes you back to Ha Giang City. During the tour you will see the different cultures and hill tribes such as the H’mong tribe living in the Ha Giang province. Their beautiful clothes are easily recognizable. You will be impressed along the way by all aspects of the trip, the stunning views, fascinating country life and beautiful cultures.

The whole trip is an immensely rewarding experience and a life-long memories.

20:30: You will back to Ha Noi by night sleeper bus

03:30 – 04:00: Get back to Ha Noi.

Reach Ba Na Hills via Cable Car. Spend your time on the most modern Cable Car in Southeast Asia, visit Dream Stream Cable car Station and see the panorama of Quang Nam – Danang City on high.

After finishing the first cable car, you will visit The Golden Bridge which has the most exotic structure and also the world’s most prominent pedestrian bridges highlighted by the British Guard newspaper, France wine cellar, Le Jardin D’amourn (consists of 9 gardens), Linh Ung pagoda. Continue the 2nd Cable Car to visit the French Village, enjoy Street Music, watch Art’s statue, Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine, Tombstone Temple, Watch Carnival Performance Show, Square Du Dome…Challenge the most popular adventure ride. Slide of Tube Car…

Lunch at Restaurant (Buffet). 15:00: Return to the Cable Car for leaving Ba Na Hills

16:45 – 17:45: Our Minivan brings you back to your hotel.

07:30 – 8:00 Get picked up by your tour guide and leave to Hue city

10:45: You will visit the Khai Dinh Tomb, the tomb had elements of Eastern art mixed with Western designs.

12:00: Having a nice lunch with Hue cuisine and rest at beautiful restaurant

13:00: You will continue visiting Hue imperial city – the palace of 13 Nguyen Kings with Ngo Mon Gate, Library, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynastic Urns, etc.

15:00: Visiting Thien Mu pagoda associated with culture and history of Hue.

15:45: Return to Da Nang

19:00: We will drop you off at hotel.

Overnight in Da Nang.

You will meet at a meeting point near the beach where we have brief up of what the experience will be like. Our pilots will give you explanation and video for demonstration before head to top of Monkey Mountain aka Son Tra. We will hear instructions from our pilots and gear up for the paragliding. All gopro for filming and safety gear will be provided.

You will experience the flight with our professional pilots over the sea, over the ocean. The feeling of freedom from the ground will amaze you. Once we are in the area, the entire landscape of Da Nang appears in front of your eyes. Cool sea breeze will cool you down and our pilot will help to capture amazing pictures by Gopro Cameras.

Within 1 flight, we will show you the mountain, jungles, temple, fishing village and the city view. The total airtime is 12 to 15 minutes, depends on wind condition, transportation from the meeting point to the take off point is 20 minutes.

End of the flight, we come to land at a beautiful beach where the fishermen’s village is. We end the trip at where we start. All the videos are sent to you immediately. Please prepare some space on your phone. Transportation is not included.

From September to November, we can only fly with guests who weigh less than 75kg or 165lbs due to safety measure/bad wind condition.

Overnight in Da Nang.

In your journey to discover Vietnam, give yourself a try to become a professional chef under our guidance. This is a great experience from going to the market to choose food and preparing and trying your hand at cooking Vietnamese cuisine.

08:30: Local guide pick up at the hotel. Go to market with our chef (about 30 minutes). We will have a chance to see and experience the noise as well as directly contact sellers. In addition to this, we will show the ingredients for use in our lesson.

09:15: Transfer to Cam Thanh village by car or boat on the way, you can explore the beautiful views of the Vietnamese countryside and see the water and coconut trees growing together. Enjoy your time with basket boat rowing through the coconut jungle forest.

11:00: Enjoy a welcome drink and take a rest at our restaurant, then join the cooking class. Our chef will teach you how to cook some local food. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked.

13:00: Return to your hotel.

Overnight in Hoi An.

07:30: Our guide will meet you at your hotel and provide the bike for you, leading you on the bike to the harbor and starting with a boat trip visit to Thanh Ha pottery village. The village is equipped with all kinds of activities for visitors including a temple, a museum with ever-changing exhibits and history, and hands-on pottery-making workshop opportunities.

To continue, we will take you to visit Kim Bong Carpentry village.

As soon as you step foot on this land, you will hear the sound of chiseling and drilling resounding from both the west and east. The sound has become an integral part of the locals’ lives with several families having lived here for many generations!

Next, we will take you to a woven mats village named Tra Nhieu village where you can experience and learn how to make sleeping mats, local traditional handicrafts.

You will listen to the presentation of the history of the war and their activities by local people. Explore the fishermen leave their nets, boats and prepare their tools for a long ride 2-3 weeks at sea.

Lunch at the local restaurant.

To complete your trip the tour guide will lead you back to your hotel on bike.
