Routes to visit Ha Long Bay 4

– Visiting duration: 08 hours (travel by boat).
– Destinations of the route: Co cave, Thay cave, Cong Do island area, Cap La cave, Cong Do lagoon ecosystem, Xep islet park, Vung Vieng area.

– Itinerary: departing from Tuan Chau International Marina (or Vinashin harbor), the boat will take you to Co cave. After leaving Co cave, you will visit Thay cave, Cong Do island area, Cap La cave, Cong Do lagoon ecosystem, Xep islet park. Finishing the itinerary, you will visit Vung Vieng area, where you will be entitled to experience entertainment services.

Co cave is 40m above the sea level. The cave is quite large with a flat floor and an open space. There is a long white sandy beach at the foot of the island. Coming to Co cave, besides exploring the cave, you will be able to go kayaking to explore the landscape and enjoy peaceful and romantic space.

Cong Do lagoon ecological area. The lagoon ecosystem is a typical ecosystem of limestone islands formed in the sea environment as in Ha Long bay. Cong Do lagoon ecological area covers an area of about 0,5ha, about 100m from Cong Do anchorage for overnight cruises. Formed on a limestone island and only connects with outside world through an underground cave or stream, so the habitat of the lagoon is independent and little affected by external factors, therefore, the composition of plants and animals in this area is abundant and featured, which creates a beautiful and attractive habitat. This area is in the period of investment and improvement of infrastructure.

Xep islet park is the area with geological and geomorphological features of the World Heritage Site and Natural Wonder. This area gathers a number of islands with folded and fractured geological structure overlapping to create a comprehensive block, notably Xep islet. Xep islet is located in the park center with the featured architectural style of many large and square blocks of stone “overlapping” into distinct rows and layers. Amidst an open and quiet space, limestone islands with the clever and ingenious arrangement of the Creator make sightseers feel like being lost in a giant geological museum on the water surface of Ha Long bay. Vong Vieng area is the place to store traditional culture of generations of Ha Long fishermen.
