Korea, China, Taiwan (China), US, Japan, Malaysia, Australia, India, Cambodia and Thailand remain top ten source tourism markets of Vietnam. In particular, Korea and China contributed nearly half of total international visitor arrivals to Vietnam.
In Jan-July figure was up in almost tourism markets, in which Asia increased by 57% with the main driving force from major markets in Northeast Asia: China (+190%), Korea (+37%), Japan (+34%), Taiwan (+76%). Southeast Asian markets also achieved good growth, such as Indonesia (+107%), Philippines (+58%), Malaysia (+7%), Cambodia (+15%), Singapore (+6%).
Two potential markets, Australia and India, continued to grow well, both up 27%. VNAT’s tourism promotion roadshow in Australia in last June is expected to contribute stronger growth of this market in the coming time.
Most markets in Europe grew positively such as UK (+25%), France (+33%), Germany (+27%), Russia (+75%). In addition, Italy (+61%), Spain (+38%), Sweden (+27%), Switzerland (+25%), Denmark (+26%), Belgium (+26%), Norway (+21%) …

Favorable visa policies and VNAT’s tourism promotion programs in France, Germany, Italy, Russia were the driving force for growth of tourist arrivals from Europe to Vietnam.
In the second half of this year, VNAT will continue to introduce Vietnam tourism abroad such as China, India, Australia and New Zealand; organize promotion programs of tourism and cinema in the United States; and participate in WTM 2024 in England.
